Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including Class A or Class B trucks, to transport goods to designated destinations.
- Load and unload cargo with precision and care to ensure product integrity.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and delivery receipts for all assigned runs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
- Strong time management and punctuality skills.
