Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers (Class A) safely and efficiently over long distances.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo according to safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in a tractor-trailer.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
