What You'll Do
As an Owner Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods from point A to point B. We are looking for professionals who take pride in their work and represent our brand with excellence.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26-foot box truck to transport cargo to designated locations.
- Load and unload freight efficiently while ensuring cargo security and compliance with weight limits.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance of the truck at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Manage all logistics, routing, and paperwork independently or with minimal dispatch assistance.
Qualifications
- Must be a Box Truck Owner Operator with your own authority or lease agreement.
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of local and regional roads in Lincoln, NE, and surrounding areas.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Professional communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
