Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks (10-26 ft) safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment (dolly, straps, etc.).
- Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients.
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork, including delivery receipts and mileage reports.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed Owner Operator with your own commercial truck (10-26 ft box truck).
- Valid DOT number and current insurance (Cargo and Liability).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Experience with freight brokerage or LTL delivery preferred.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
