Responsibilities
- Operate box truck safely and efficiently for local/regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and required documentation
- Inspect vehicle pre/post-trip to ensure DOT compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch for timely route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Manage inventory loading/unloading procedures
- Report maintenance issues promptly
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability)
- DOT medical certification current
- Reliable box truck (26ft max) in good condition
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations
- Smartphone with GPS and reliable communication
