Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for long-haul routes across the Eastern Seaboard
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per DOT regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and delivery timelines
- Uphold company safety standards and represent Coastal Logistics professionally
- Adapt to flexible scheduling while maintaining consistent service quality
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb trailer ladders
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic navigation technology proficiency (GPS, ELD systems)
