Responsibilities
- Operate box truck safely and efficiently for local/regional deliveries
- Manage loading/unloading of freight with proper equipment handling
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Comply with all DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Box truck operation experience preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Reliable smartphone with GPS and data access
- Proof of insurance and DOT medical card
- Must own or lease eligible box truck (26' or smaller)
