Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of freight using box trucks (26ft-48ft)
- Route optimization and real-time GPS tracking compliance
- Pre-trip/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance coordination
- Electronic logging device (ELD) management and hours-of-service compliance
- Customer communication and proof-of-delivery documentation
- Collaboration with dispatch team for load scheduling
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Clean MVR and satisfactory background check
- Basic mechanical knowledge for on-road troubleshooting
- Smartphone proficiency for mobile app communications
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- DOT medical certification current
