Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local and regional deliveries throughout Minneapolis and surrounding areas
- Maintain clean, DOT-compliant vehicle with daily inspections and preventative maintenance
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency while adhering to delivery windows
- Complete accurate documentation including BOLs, delivery confirmations, and mileage logs
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team regarding delays, route changes, or customer issues
- Safely handle specialized freight including temperature-sensitive and oversized loads
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement (required)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Minneapolis metro area and surrounding regions
- DOT medical certification and ability to pass pre-employment screening
- Reliable personal box truck (24-26ft) in good working condition
