Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport Amazon packages throughout Lincoln and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery records and GPS tracking for all shipments
- Provide exceptional customer service during package deliveries and address route issues
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to Amazon's delivery protocols, safety standards, and time commitments
- Optimize daily routes for maximum efficiency and on-time delivery rates
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions and customer inquiries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience in commercial/delivery setting
- Ability to lift packages up to 70 lbs regularly and work in all weather conditions
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS navigation and delivery apps
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by Amazon
- Knowledge of Lincoln, NE roadways and surrounding communities
- Commitment to safety and punctuality in all delivery operations
