Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Virginia and surrounding states
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and highway safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning
- Report maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year driving experience OR willingness to complete our paid training program
- Clean MVR record with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of vehicle safety systems and troubleshooting
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
