Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local and regional deliveries on weekends
- Pre-trip inspection and maintenance of assigned vehicles
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and logs
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch and clients
- Handle cargo loading/unloading with proper equipment
- Manage time-sensitive delivery schedules efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable truck driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) and occasional holidays
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems and route planning
- Physical ability to climb, lift, and handle cargo up to 50 lbs
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
