Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for timely deliveries across Jacksonville and surrounding areas
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery deadlines
- Load/unload merchandise and verify shipment accuracy upon delivery
- Maintain detailed delivery logs and mileage records
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or valid driver's license with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Jacksonville area and regional highways
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for digital logging systems
