Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to transport goods and materials within Philadelphia and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize routes and ensure timely deliveries
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B preferred but not required
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia streets and metropolitan area
- Basic math skills for inventory and documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Excellent time management and communication skills
