Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and materials on time throughout Chicago and suburbs
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology while adhering to traffic regulations and delivery windows
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon receipt
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip for safety compliance and report maintenance needs
- Represent the company professionally with exceptional customer service during all interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges and optimize operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class D Driver's License with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience with commercial vehicles
- Strong knowledge of Chicago metropolitan area roadways and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and maneuver packages of various sizes
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CDL preferred but not mandatory
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
