Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans for local deliveries within the Charlotte metropolitan area
- Load/unload packages with precision and care, verifying contents against manifests
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and real-time GPS tracking updates
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize delivery routes to minimize transit time and fuel consumption
- Report vehicle maintenance needs and safety concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Class B CDL preferred or willingness to obtain within 60 days
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Familiarity with Charlotte road network and traffic patterns
- Pass background check and DOT physical examination
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
