Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage timely delivery of freight while maintaining optimal fuel efficiency
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route changes or delays
- Document delivery receipts and handle cargo with care
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- 1+ year of commercial truck driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
