Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across the Midwest region
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) compliance
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Handle loading/unloading operations with proper equipment usage
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Build strong relationships with clients through professional communication
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with hazmat regulations (preferred but not required)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally
- Flexibility for regional overnight travel (1-2 nights per week)
- Knowledge of Milwaukee metro area and surrounding regions
