Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks over long distances (OTR) on dedicated routes to ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain 100% DOT compliance and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required paperwork, including bills of lading.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo integrity during transit.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedule changes or delivery issues.
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with customers at pickup and delivery locations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A issued by the state of New Mexico or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical card.
- Clean driving record with no major violations or DUIs within the last 7 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of trucking regulations, map reading, and navigation.
- Physically capable of sitting for extended periods and performing manual tasks.
