Responsibilities
- Drive a modern Amazon delivery van to transport packages to customers in a safe and timely manner.
- Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring a positive unboxing experience.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, adhering to safety protocols and weight limits.
- Utilize handheld scanners and navigation systems to manage route assignments and package tracking.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety guidelines strictly to prevent accidents.
- Manage customer calls and resolve delivery issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C or equivalent) required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong communication skills and English proficiency.
- Reliable transportation to and from the delivery hub.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including heat and rain.
- Previous driving experience is a plus but not mandatory for the right candidate.
