Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 commercial vehicles on regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain meticulous trip documentation
- Load/unload freight with precision and care
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery schedules while maintaining safety compliance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage electronic logging systems accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Tennessee/Georgia road networks
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility for overnight trips (3-4 nights/week)
