Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles on DC/NC routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance
- Load/unload freight with proper securing protocols
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
- Submit accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delays or route changes
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean MVR (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with DC/NC metro areas and highways
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Smartphone proficiency for ELD apps
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
