Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for timely deliveries throughout Washington DC metro area
- Plan and optimize daily delivery routes using GPS technology
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Resolve delivery issues and customer inquiries promptly
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A/B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and delivery apps
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Washington DC traffic patterns preferred
