Responsibilities
- Safe Delivery: Safely transport packages to residential and commercial addresses in Virginia Beach and surrounding areas.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, ensuring a friendly and safe delivery experience.
- Documentation: Obtain valid signatures and proof of delivery for all packages.
- Vehicle Care: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Route Planning: Use the mobile app to navigate efficiently and plan the best delivery routes.
- Problem Solving: Handle delivery exceptions and customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Driver's License (Class C) and a clean driving record.
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Vehicle: Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for local delivery.
- Technology: Smartphone with data capabilities (Android or iPhone) for navigation and communication.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and occasional peak times.
