Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers during night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport goods across Illinois and neighboring states with on-time delivery rates exceeding 98%
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and documentation (ELD compliance)
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Collaborate with dispatch teams for optimal route planning and load security
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb trailer ladders
- Familiarity with hazmat/dry van refrigerated loads preferred
- Strong navigation skills using GPS and route optimization tools
- Availability for flexible scheduling including weekends/holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
