Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for nighttime freight deliveries across the Baltimore metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems in compliance with DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Ensure secure handling of high-value cargo during all transit stages
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Adhere strictly to Baltimore traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Knowledge of Baltimore metropolitan roadways and traffic patterns
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
