Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers to deliver cargo on time and within budget.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance and report any defects.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and documentation according to FMCSA and company regulations.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo integrity and minimizing damage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and current DOT physical card.
- Ability to pass a mandatory drug screen and background check.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and customer service excellence.
