Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on long-haul routes
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance documentation
- Optimize delivery routes to meet tight deadlines
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and compliance records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Handle hazardous materials endorsements when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Texas road networks and weather conditions
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Flexibility for overnight stays and weekend shifts
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred
