Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) safely and efficiently to deliver freight to destinations across the US.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) according to FMCSA guidelines.
- Secure cargo properly and ensure customer satisfaction by delivering goods on time and in good condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes and delivery schedules.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic knowledge of cargo handling and DOT safety regulations.
