Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) safely and efficiently to deliver goods on time.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling as required.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and paperwork, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically fit to lift heavy objects and operate machinery for loading/unloading.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols is a plus.
