Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks over various routes in the Detroit area and beyond.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts and manual handling equipment.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (Training provided for Class B).
- Willingness to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
- Strong commitment to safety and time management.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
- Customer service oriented attitude.
