Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van and refrigerated) for local/regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient delivery schedules
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Complete required paperwork and delivery documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Jacksonville metro area and Florida routes
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
- Flexibility for early mornings and occasional overnight trips
- Must pass background check and TSA clearance
