Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on multi-state routes including Virginia-Boston corridor
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient delivery scheduling and route optimization
- Ensure secure cargo handling and documentation for high-value freight
- Adhere strictly to HOS regulations and company safety protocols
- Build client relationships through professional communication during loading/unloading
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate vehicle servicing
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
