Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner, strictly adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo accurately to ensure damage prevention and timely delivery schedules.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain roadworthiness and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of hours worked, miles driven, and cargo status.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery updates and potential delays.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and weight limits.
Qualifications
- Clean Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a similar role.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and major roadways.
- Valid Medical Certificate (DOT compliant).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
