Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A or Class B trucks on local and regional routes throughout Houston, TX and Georgia.
- Deliver freight to customers on time, ensuring cargo is handled with care and delivered in perfect condition.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Complete Electronic Logging Device (ELD) logs accurately and adhere to all FMCSA regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service during loading, unloading, and delivery processes.
- Maintain a clean and professional driving record at all times.
- Assist with cargo loading and unloading as required by route assignments.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card and physical examination certificate.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of roadways in Houston, TX and Georgia.
- Ability to lift and move cargo weighing up to 50 lbs.
