Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to designated routes in Houston metro area
- Load/unload merchandise with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for inventory control
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Optimize routes for efficiency while meeting delivery time windows
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team regarding route status
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate pallet jacks
- Strong knowledge of Houston metropolitan area geography
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic math proficiency for inventory documentation
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening (company-mandated)
