Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods along designated routes in Wichita and surrounding areas
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain required customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Resolve delivery discrepancies and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies
- Assist in inventory management and warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience with route delivery background
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and organizational skills for efficient route execution
- Excellent customer service communication abilities
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and delivery tracking systems
- Pass background check and drug screening as per DOT regulations
