Responsibilities
- Safely transport time-sensitive packages, medical supplies, and legal documents using company vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Verify recipient signatures and handle special delivery instructions
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adapt routes in real-time using GPS navigation for optimal efficiency
- Uphold strict confidentiality for sensitive materials
- Represent MetroSwift with professional appearance and courteous communication
Qualifications
- Valid Minnesota driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout shifts
- Strong knowledge of Minneapolis metro area roadways
- Experience with route navigation apps (Google Maps, Waze)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps
- Background check and drug screen required
- Prior delivery or logistics experience preferred
