Responsibilities
- Safely operate refrigerated delivery trucks along designated Miami-Dade routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and inventory records using our digital tracking system
- Provide exceptional customer service during commercial deliveries and client interactions
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to HACCP food safety protocols during temperature-controlled transport
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency and resolve delivery issues
- Assist with loading/unloading operations using proper material handling techniques
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- DOT medical certification and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation and delivery tracking software
- Strong knowledge of Miami metropolitan area roadways and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Food Handler's Certificate preferred
