Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations on time
- Load/unload merchandise with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Optimize routes for efficiency while meeting delivery deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; CDL preferred
- 1+ year delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly and operate pallet jacks
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Proficient with GPS technology and delivery tracking systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
