Responsibilities
- Efficiently collect, sort, and deliver packages to residential and commercial locations across Seattle.
- Ensure the safe handling and proper documentation of all shipments to maintain high accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including professional communication and secure package placement.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while navigating the city.
- Utilize handheld technology to update delivery statuses and log hours in real-time.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times, performing routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations within the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for courier work.
- Proficiency with smartphone technology and GPS navigation systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clients.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and adhere to strict delivery timelines.
