Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver parcels to residential and commercial addresses throughout the Dallas metroplex efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure all packages are handled with extreme care to prevent damage during transit.
- Inspect delivery vehicle for cleanliness and mechanical issues before and after each shift.
- Navigate complex city routes using GPS and mapping software to optimize delivery times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and resolving delivery issues promptly.
- Complete necessary delivery documentation, including signatures and digital logs, accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no recent major violations).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience in courier, delivery, or logistics driving.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route optimization software (e.g., Onfleet, Route4Me).
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a professional appearance suitable for client interaction.
