Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans for timely deliveries across NYC boroughs
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Communicate professionally with clients and dispatch
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Assist in fleet maintenance coordination as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class D Driver's License with clean MVR (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of NYC streets and boroughs
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic GPS navigation proficiency
- Pass background check and drug screening
- CDL Class B preferred but not required
