Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages and documents to residential and commercial addresses.
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide exceptional customer service to clients upon delivery.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Inspect the vehicle before and after each shift to ensure it is clean and in good working condition.
- Handle packages with care to prevent damage, damage reports, and timely processing.
- Complete daily delivery logs and mileage reports accurately.
- Uphold the company's brand image by representing MetroSpeed positively.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C or higher) with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to follow a route map efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of the Detroit area and surrounding regions is highly preferred.
- Reliable smartphone with data access for navigation and communication.
- Must be willing to pass a background check and drug screen.
