Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial clients in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure accident-free driving.
- Practice proper package handling to ensure items arrive in perfect condition.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including courteous interactions and professional package presentation.
- Utilize handheld devices for route optimization, logging delivery attempts, and communicating with dispatch.
- Collect payments for COD (Cash on Delivery) orders accurately and promptly.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with mobile applications or GPS navigation systems.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle for vehicle inspections and pre-trip/post-trip checks.
