Responsibilities
- Safely transport parcels and documents to designated addresses across Louisville and surrounding areas.
- Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and confirming successful deliveries.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Utilize GPS technology to plan the most efficient routes and manage time effectively.
- Handle paperwork accurately, including delivery receipts and vehicle logs.
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Handle various package types, ensuring fragile items are secured properly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent state driver’s license.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience in a professional or commercial capacity.
- Strong knowledge of the Louisville, KY road network and traffic patterns.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must possess a clean driving record and pass a background check.
- Basic proficiency with mobile technology and navigation apps.
