Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vans to transport packages and materials to designated locations
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation software to ensure timely deliveries
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or clean Class C license
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Milwaukee metro area and surrounding Wisconsin roads
- Basic computer skills for using delivery tracking systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
