Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans for local and regional deliveries.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using proper equipment (hand trucks, pallet jacks).
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DVIR) and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse staff at each stop.
- Keep the vehicle clean and perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B or equivalent required.
- Able to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Clean driving record and proof of auto insurance.
- Reliable transportation to and from the terminal.
