Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents to designated addresses in Oakland and surrounding areas.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies while driving.
- Interact professionally with customers, providing friendly and accurate service.
- Inspect vehicles daily for cleanliness and mechanical issues.
- Use handheld devices to log delivery information and update tracking status.
- Assist with loading and unloading packages from the delivery van.
- Resolve delivery issues or address customer inquiries efficiently.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Reliable smartphone for navigation and delivery apps.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
