Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages and parcels to residential and commercial addresses within Detroit and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo from delivery vehicles efficiently and safely.
- Obtain proper signatures and ensure the condition of goods upon delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any delivery issues professionally.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and time logs.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and smartphone apps.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot.
